The app speaks your language

Your notes could already be written in Ukrainian while every button around them stayed in English. From 5 October 2026 the interface follows the same language as the notes.

• One setting, not two. The interface reads the notes language you picked in the wizard, or later under Manage account. There is no separate interface language to keep in step with it.
• Changing it redraws the app at once, including the dates, the plurals and the account screens.
• Before you have picked one, the front page, sign-in and sign-up follow your browser's language, and fall back to English.

Ukrainian and English are the two languages today. The structure of your vault stays in English either way, because the folder names and section headings are what makes a vault readable by someone who does not speak the language the notes are in.

Two things stay in English on purpose: the content of your own notes, which is shown exactly as it was written, and the messages that come from the server when something goes wrong.
