Export your vault as a zip, next to deleting it

The page in your account that used to be Delete my data is now Manage my data, and deleting is only half of it.

Export downloads your whole vault as trace-vault-<date>.zip. It unpacks to one Trace/ folder that opens in Obsidian as a vault of its own: every person's note, every day's review, the task list and the projects, as the plain Markdown files they already are. Nothing is converted on the way out, because there is nothing to convert.

It is a copy. What you edit in the download stays with you and does not come back to Tracebrain. Take one whenever you like; there is no limit and no waiting.

Delete works as it did, and now says to export first. Typing delete ends every sign-in and removes the vault.

The two sit together on purpose. A memory you cannot take with you is a memory on loan, and the way to prove it is yours is to hand it over on request, in a format that outlives the product.
