Refund and Cancellation Policy
The short version
- The seven-day trial is how you find out whether Tracebrain is worth paying for. Cancel before it ends and nothing is charged.
- Cancel whenever you like. The plan then runs to the end of the month you paid for.
- A month already started is not refunded as a matter of course.
- Paddle takes the payment and decides refunds. Write to us and we will take it up with them.
1. What you are buying
One plan, billed every month in advance at the price shown on the pricing page before you pay. The subscription renews each month until you cancel it.
2. The trial
The plan starts with a seven-day trial. You give a card and nothing is charged until the seven days end. Cancel before then and you pay nothing at all — that is what the trial is for, and it is the moment to decide. One trial per account.
3. Cancelling
At any time, in three ways: Manage subscription in the account menu inside Tracebrain, the link in the receipt Paddle emailed you, or a message to [email protected] and we will do it for you. Cancelling stops the next charge. The plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, and nothing is taken after that.
Cancelling does not delete your vault. Ask us at [email protected] if you want it deleted; the Privacy Policy says what happens then and how long it takes.
4. Refunds
A period that has already started is not refunded as a matter of course. The trial is there so that nobody has to buy a month to find out whether they want one, and the subscription can be ended before it renews.
Two things sit above that. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for every order: it takes the payment, charges the tax, and decides refunds under its own buyer terms. And nothing on this page takes away a right you have under consumer law, which applies whatever a policy says.
If you were charged for something you did not mean to buy, or Tracebrain did not work and we could not fix it, write to [email protected] with the email address on the account. We would rather hear it than have you write to your bank.
5. If the price changes
You stay on the price you subscribed at. If that ever has to change we will tell you before it does, and you can cancel instead — see section 9 of the Terms of Service.
