Working prototype — in daily use

One plan. $20 a month.

Tracebrain costs $20 per month after 7 days free, with every channel, every person and every daily note in the one plan. A card is taken when the trial starts and charged when the 7 days end; cancel before then and you pay nothing. Paddle sells the subscription as our reseller and merchant of record.

The plan

Everything, for one price.

There is nothing to compare: one plan, and no feature kept back for a tier above it. The subscription pays for the filing — the connectors, the nightly review, the people index — and for a server in Germany that holds your vault.

Checked on 6 October 2026 against the code that charges and the pages that bill: the price and the trial length are the ones the checkout uses, and Paddle's role is the one in its buyer terms.

The trial

Seven days, then a decision.

Long enough for a week of real conversations to turn into profiles, daily notes and tasks. That is the thing being evaluated, and it needs a week of your own messages to look like anything.

  1. Day one: connect a channel

Sign up, give a card, connect Telegram or WhatsApp. The card is taken, not charged. Telegram comes in through your own login and brings your one-to-one history with it, so the vault is not empty while you decide.

  2. Every night: a review

What was decided, promised and paid goes into the day's note, every person you talked to gets a profile written from what was actually said, and each open promise becomes a task.

  3. Day seven: charged, or nothing

At the end of the 7 days Paddle charges $20 and the subscription renews monthly. Cancel before then and nothing is taken. One trial per account — if this one is used, subscribing at the monthly price still works.

  4. Any month after: cancel in two clicks

Manage subscription in the account menu opens Paddle's portal, where the subscription is cancelled, paused or given a new card. Cancelling stops the next charge; the plan runs to the end of the month already paid for. If a card simply fails, Paddle retries and the app keeps working while it does.

What it does not buy

Four things the price does not include.

Worth knowing before the card, not after it.

  1. A free tier, or an annual discount

One monthly price, and no cheaper way to pay for a year up front. If you subscribe now and the price ever changes, you stay on the price you subscribed at.

  2. Every channel you talk in

Telegram and WhatsApp are live. We are building meetings, phone calls and email; iMessage, Slack, LinkedIn, Instagram, Signal, calendar and voice memos are on the roadmap and not readable today. The plan includes each one the day it ships, at the same price.

  3. A team plan

This price is for one person's own vault. Company memory — one shared memory that a whole team's accounts write into — is in early access and is not sold yet.

  4. A mobile app

Tracebrain is a web app, and the vault is Markdown you can open in Obsidian on any device. There is no iOS or Android app, and the personal CRMs that have one beat us on exactly that — the personal CRM comparison says where each of them wins.

Billing

Who takes the money, and what they see.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: you buy the subscription from Paddle, Paddle takes the payment, charges whatever tax your country applies, emails the receipt and decides refunds under its own buyer terms. We are told that a payment succeeded and for which account; we never see your card.

What Paddle receives is your email address, your billing country and postcode, your payment details, and an identifier that ties the purchase to your Tracebrain account. It never receives your conversations, your notes or the names of the people in them. The Privacy Policy lists every company that touches anything, and what each one gets.

The seller behind the product is Mykola Breslavskyi, Poland, VAT PL8993038838. The Terms of Service are the agreement, the Refund and Cancellation Policy says what happens to money already paid, and both are read under the law of Poland, without taking away any right you have where you live.

If you stop paying, your vault is not deleted — the app stops opening and the connectors stop reading, but downloading everything and deleting everything both keep working while you are signed in. The download is a zip of Markdown files that opens in Obsidian as a vault of its own, with the people, the message history, the daily notes, the tasks and the projects in it. It is a copy, so nothing you change in it comes back.

FAQ

Questions people ask about the price.

How much does Tracebrain cost?

$20 per month, priced in USD, after a 7-day free trial. There is one plan and everything is in it: as many connected channels as you like, the profiles, the daily notes, the tasks and the projects, and a vault hosted in Germany that you can download at any time.

Is there a free trial, and do I need a card?

7 days, and yes. The card is taken when the trial starts and charged when the 7 days end. Cancel before then and you pay nothing at all. One trial per account: the 7 days are how you decide, not a free plan to restart. You can also subscribe straight away, without the trial.

Is there a free plan?

No. Every account costs real money every day it runs: a server in Germany holding the vault, the connectors reading the channels, and the AI that writes the profiles and the nightly review. A free tier would be paid for by making one of those worse. The trial is the free part.

Who am I buying from, and who takes the payment?

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the Merchant of Record for every order: it takes the payment, charges any tax that applies and emails the receipt. It receives your email address, billing country and postcode, your payment details and an identifier that ties the purchase to your account. We never see your card, and Paddle never sees your conversations. The seller behind the product is Mykola Breslavskyi, Poland, VAT PL8993038838.

Can I cancel, and do I get a refund?

Cancel at any time from Manage subscription in the account menu, which opens Paddle's own portal, or from the link in Paddle's receipt, or by writing to us. Cancelling stops the next charge and the plan runs to the end of the month you paid for. A month already started is not refunded as a matter of course, and Paddle decides refunds under its own buyer terms. The Refund and Cancellation Policy says all of it, including where consumer law overrides it.

Do I pay VAT or sales tax?

If your country charges it, yes, and Paddle adds it at checkout and remits it. The $20 on this page is the price before any such tax. Paddle's own VAT registration is what appears on your invoice, because Paddle is the seller of record.

What happens to my vault if I stop paying?

It is not deleted, and it stays yours. What stops is the service: once the subscription ends, the app does not open and the connectors stop reading. Downloading your vault and deleting your data both keep working while you are signed in, on purpose - a lapsed subscription does not make your messages any less yours. The download is a zip that opens in Obsidian as a vault of its own. The Privacy Policy says how long anything is kept and how to have it all deleted.

Is there an annual plan, a team plan or a discount?

Not yet. There is one monthly price and no annual one, so there is nothing to save by paying for a year. Teams are the next thing we sell and are not for sale today: company memory is an early-access page, and the people who sign up there decide what the team plan looks like. If you were given a promo code, the checkout has a field for it.

Start

Seven days of your own conversations.

Connect one channel and let it run for a week. The profiles, the nightly notes and the tasks are written from your own messages, which is the only way to tell whether this is worth $20 a month.
