Telegram personal CRM, read over your own login

Tracebrain reads Telegram over your own login, the same kind of session your desktop app uses, and turns your one-to-one conversations into a living profile for every person you talk to. This page says exactly what that means: how you connect, what is read, what is not, what you get, and how to take the access back.

How you connect

Connecting is a scan, not a bot you add to a chat.

  1. Open Telegram on your phone, then Settings, Devices, Link desktop device.
  2. Scan the QR code Tracebrain shows. It is replaced about every thirty seconds, which is Telegram's timing.
  3. If your account has two-step verification, type that password once.

If scanning is not an option for your account, the phone code is still offered under the QR. The session is saved only after Telegram confirms the login, so an abandoned attempt leaves nothing behind.

Then you pick how far back to read: the last three months, six months, a year, or everything. The first version of each person's note is written from conversations you had long before you heard of Tracebrain, which is the point of reading over a login and not through a bot. A bot only receives what arrives after it is added; your own login sees what your own app sees.

What is read, and what is not

ReadNot read
ConversationsOne-to-one chats with a personGroups and channels
Other chatsBots and Saved Messages
MessagesThe text of each message, with the time it was sentVoice and media are kept as a placeholder, not transcribed
Your accountMessages in the chats aboveNothing is sent, joined or marked as read

The time on every line is the time the message was sent, not the time it was processed. Telegram hands over a queue of messages in one batch after a connection drops, and a note that stamped them all with the minute of the reconnect would put a whole evening on the wrong day.

Live events are not a guarantee, so a catch-up pass runs on top of them every fifteen minutes. It asks Telegram which chats have spoken since the last pass and reads only those, and a line that is already in the note is never written twice.

What you get

Every person you talk to gets one living profile: who they are, what they told you, what you promised each other and what is still open. It is rewritten from what was said, so it stays current without you typing anything.

Overnight, the day's conversations are also read together and written up as a daily note: what was decided, what you promised, what was promised to you, what you paid and what is still open. The open promises go into a task list, so a commitment made in a chat does not stay in the chat. The nightly note is described on the AI journal page.

Taking the access back

There are two things to end, and they are different.

  • Disconnect in Tracebrain. Nothing more is read. The session stays signed in on Telegram's side, so that reconnecting is one click and not a new login.
  • End the session in Telegram. Settings, Devices, terminate the session. This is the one that closes the door, because it works whatever Tracebrain does or does not do next. Deleting your Tracebrain account also ends the session, and removes your data.

A Telegram session is full access to an account, which is why it lives in a database and not in a file next to the code, and is never written to a log. The processors that handle it are listed on the privacy policy.

For teams

This page is about one person reading their own chats. A team that works in Telegram has a different problem: the history is split across everyone's accounts, and it leaves with them. That is company memory, which is in early access and is not what you connect here.

Cost

Telegram is included in the one plan, with unlimited connected channels, after a seven-day trial. The pricing page has the details.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Is there a personal CRM that reads Telegram?

Tracebrain does. It signs in to your Telegram account the way a desktop app does, reads your one-to-one chats, and keeps one profile per person with what they told you, what you promised each other and what is still open. Most personal CRMs that list Telegram sync contacts or a last-message preview; this one reads the conversation.

Can Tracebrain send messages from my Telegram?

No. The login is used to read. Tracebrain does not send messages, join chats, react or mark anything as read.

Does it read groups and channels?

Not yet. Groups, channels, bot chats and Saved Messages are skipped, and only one-to-one conversations with a person are read. A shared team memory across groups is a separate product, described on the company memory page.

How far back does it read?

You choose in the setup wizard, from the last three months to your whole one-to-one history. After that, new messages are read as they arrive, and a catch-up pass every fifteen minutes fills anything missed while the connection was down.

How do I turn it off?

In Tracebrain, disconnect Telegram and nothing more is read. To end the login itself, open Telegram, then Settings, Devices, and terminate the session, the same way you would sign out an old phone. Deleting your Tracebrain account ends the session for you.

Where are the notes stored?

In a private vault on a server in Germany. You can export everything as a zip at any time.
